I'm playing on normal and I've been able to deal with enemies easily using just my wrench (even before I upgraded it), shotgun and sometimes my recycler grenade. I don't understand when some people say early game is too hard. Thankfully, I have the skill to hack them. Fell for that in Dishonoured 2 I knew the turret love wouldn't last. "Here are these really awesome, badass powers but if you install them your ending will be darrrrk. Question: without spoilers, are there any point-of-no-return points? There's some optional objectives in places I can't access yet and I'm worried they will disappear if I advance too far into the campaign. It's just about knowing what skills are useful at what time. It's hard deciding between skills because they are all incredibly useful but I've heard it is possible to acquire all skills and upgrades in one playthrough if you explore enough. There's likely another way in but it would be good to get in early. I was thinking about getting the ability to lift heavy objects as there's a sofa blocking the HR entrance. Hacking level 1 was the second ability I acquired and it's been very useful. Next time i play it i know what to do first upgrade hacking to max as that will alleviate not being able to get into door i need to and upgrade psyshock as soon as possible as its very effective on phantoms both of these make the game less frustrating Prey was one of those games which at the beginning i was very frustrated then about half way through it clicked and after finishing it i think about playing it alot.
